Job Description

Company Profile Discover Recovery is a leading provider of substance use disorder care. Our services include a full continuum of care from inpatient subacute detox to residential treatment with a multidisciplinary team. The nurse will work collaboratively with our medical providers, residential technicians, and clinical staff to provide optimal nursing care to our patients. Duties include but are not limited to monitoring patient conditions and assessing their needs, accurately administering and documenting medication administration, collaborating with the team and other community resources. We have two openings. Both are full-time. One's hours are majority day-time, while the other is for overnight.
Essential Functions:
Complete intake assessments and other required intake documentation efficiently and accurately at time of admission Provide medication management, patient medication education, and medication administration according to physician orders and in accordance with facility and regulatory agency policies Follows physician orders for all detox protocols and documents appropriately in the electronic health record Adhere to program and nursing protocols, standards, policies and procedures Documents information related to patients' care including assessment results, vitals, test results, interventions, medications, patient responses, or treatment changes per facility policy Monitors, documents, and reports symptoms or changes in patient conditions Maintains all required charting and paperwork requirements as defined by the facility and regulatory agencies Works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and with community resources (such as, PCP coordination, pharmacy, etc.) Assists in training new residential technician staff on job duties and responsibilities, monitors job performance of staff and reports performance issues to supervisor Attends meetings and trainings as required Maintains compliance with HIPAA regulations Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
Active WA State Registered Nursing License Must maintain clean driving record CPR/First AID Negative TB test results within past year Medical Clearance to work within past year Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings Maintain valid CPR/First Aid certification Individual must be willing to work with a wide variety of symptoms related to substance abuse. Must have an understanding of and sensitivity toward working with multi-cultural populations, as well as an understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity
Experience:
1+ year(s) medical experience as RN Prior experience in detox/rehab/psychiatric environment recommended

$45.00 - $58.00 per hour
