Job Description

Bring your expertise as a Registered Nurse to support K-12 students in a rewarding school health environment. For the 2021-2022 school year, several contract opportunities are available for dedicated nursing professionals interested in making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents. Both full-time and part-time positions are open, providing flexibility based on your availability and preferences.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time and part-time positions available 2021-2022 School Year commitment
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license in Washington Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric care preferred Ability to provide high-quality nursing support, including 1:1 care (ventilator/trach experience highly desirable) Comfortable working with K-12 students, adapting care to varying developmental needs Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to students, including those with complex medical needs (such as 1:1 ventilator/trach cases) Potentially support health room activities when needed Administer medications and monitor student health in compliance with individualized care plans Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as necessary Promote a supportive, safe, and positive school environment Maintain accurate documentation and communicate updates to relevant members of the school health team
