Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) - Primary Care Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join our outpatient behavioral health team. This opening is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time candidates . Utilizing full practice authority in Washington State, you will serve as a primary care provider delivering comprehensive, holistic, and evidence-based medical care to a diverse patient population. We prioritize provider well-being and offer highly flexible schedule negotiations to support an optimal work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Care & Management Perform Evaluations:
Conduct comprehensive health histories, physical exams, and wellness assessments.
Diagnose & Treat:
Manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
Prescribe Therapy:
Formulate treatment plans and prescribe medications, including controlled substances.
Order Diagnostics:
Select and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, MRIs, and other diagnostic imaging.
Perform Procedures:
Execute minor outpatient clinical procedures such as biopsies, suturing, and joint injections.
Coordinate Referrals:
Identify complex medical cases and refer patients to appropriate medical specialists.
Patient Advocacy & Administration Educate Patients:
Counsel individuals and families on preventative healthcare, lifestyle changes, and chronic disease management.
Document Care:
Maintain accurate, timely, and secure records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Quality Improvement:
Participate in clinic peer reviews, clinical protocol updates, and safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications Education & Licensure RN License:
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Washington State.
ARNP License:
Active Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license in Washington State.
Prescriptive Authority:
Valid WA prescriptive authority and active DEA registration for controlled substances.
Certifications & Skills Board Certification:
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP).
Life Support:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
EHR Proficiency:
Experience navigating medical charting software.
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:
$120,000 - $150,000 annually for Full-Time (Pro-rated based on hours for Part-Time; commensurate with clinical experience).
