Jefferson County Jail 81 Elkins Rd, Port Hadlock-Irondale, WA 98339 7:00 am
  • 3:00 pm or 8:00 am
  • 4:00 pm Monday
  • Friday Looking for only registered nurses at this location.
But can be full time or part time.
Job Qualifications:
Graduated from an accredited program Active Washington state nursing license Active Washington state drivers license Current BLS certificate ICU/medical surgical or ER experience desirable but not required Must demonstrate ability to: Work independently Maintain HIPPA Pass back ground check
Job Responsibilities:
Physical assessment, documentation of medical care, SBAR communication with on call providers, conducting sick calls, verification of medication and treatment, TB testing. Communicating medical, mental health, and public communities, alcohol and or drug detoxification, administering medications. This is not an all inclusive list of our nurses responsibilities, it is a general overview of the role of a nurse in a correctional institute. Further education of the position will be given during the job shadow and during the training period.
