4318346-98368 Job Description Make a meaningful impact as a school-based Registered Nurse supporting elementary students for the 22/23 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work weekdays with a balanced schedule and support a diverse population of students with mild to moderate disabilities. Youll be at a single school location in the Port Angeles area, near scenic Port Townsend, WA, managing the health room and making a difference in childrens lives.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Active Washington State RN license.

COVID-19

vaccination. Experience in pediatrics and/or school nursing is helpful, though not required. WA ESA certification preferred but not mandatory. Flexibility, strong communication, and a passion for student well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and oversee health care plans for elementary students. Address daily health concerns and provide care to students with mild to moderate disabilities. Serve as the primary nurse for the assigned school, running the health room efficiently. Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with relevant state and school policies. Educate staff and students on health-related matters as needed. No bus duty required, allowing you to focus on direct student care. Collaborate with school staff to promote a healthy learning environment. Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, either 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. The average caseload ensures you can provide quality care without feeling overwhelmed.
