This contract position runs from September through mid-June, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week) and your choice of a 7:30 AM3:00 PM or 8:00 AM3:30 PM workday.

Key Qualifications:

Active Washington RN license Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing Pediatric nursing background or school nursing experience preferred, but not required WA ESA certification preferred Commitment to following health and safety protocols, including

Primary Responsibilities:

Care for an average-sized elementary school caseload, supporting children with mild to moderate disabilities Develop, implement, and manage individualized student health care plans Oversee daily operations of the school health room, serving as the primary point of care on campus Maintain comprehensive health records and collaborate with educators and families to support student wellbeing Provide expert first aid, illness assessment, and appropriate referrals Deliver health education and promote healthy habits among students and staff No bus duty or travel between locations required; focus your skills at a single school Enjoy balanced workdays and a manageable lunch break while experiencing the fulfillment of school nursing in a welcoming community.
