9652873-98290 Job Description A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to serve as a substitute nurse within the academic community for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time contract role offers consistency with 25 guaranteed hours each week, supporting students from ages 3 to 22. The ideal candidate is flexible with scheduling, as needs may arise anywhere from 6am to 4pm based on school activities. Applicants should possess a passion for working with school-aged children and young adults, as well as the adaptability to serve across different school environments. The position begins as soon as possible and extends through June 11, 2027.

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) certification/licensure required Experience in school nursing or with pediatric/young adult populations highly desirable Strong assessment and communication skills Capability to manage a variety of student health needs professionally and compassionately Willingness to work flexible hours between 6am and 4pm according to assignment

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver direct healthcare services and health education to students aged 322 Provide medical support for students with acute and chronic health concerns Perform routine health screenings and maintain accurate medical records Collaborate with educators and parents to coordinate student care Respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies on campus Why consider this position?
