The role involves collaborating with patients, caregivers, physicians, healthcare providers, and payers to ensure quality care. The RN demonstrates competency in all nursing phases , acts as a professional role model , and supports home care staff with infusion needs. Responsibilities include promoting patient comfort and quality of life during infusion treatments for conditions such as infections, nutrition, pain, cancer, or chronic illnesses.
