We are open to full-time or part-time availability and are looking for an RN who can step into a collaborative surgical environment and help support our team. Interested in staying beyond the temporary assignment? There may be an opportunity for continued regular employment based on staffing needs and position availability. If a regular position is not available following the assignment, there may also be an opportunity to transition into a PRN role. What You'll Do As an RN Circulator, you'll play an important role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and positive surgical experience for our patients. You'll work closely with our surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other clinical team members throughout the perioperative process.

Key responsibilities include:

Prepare the operating room and verify necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning appropriately. Review patient documentation, consent forms, surgical site verification, and other preoperative requirements. Advocate for patient safety throughout the surgical procedure. Assist with safe patient positioning, transfers, and other perioperative needs. Coordinate activities within the operating room and anticipate the needs of the surgical team. Maintain awareness of sterile technique and identify or address breaks in sterility. Complete accurate intraoperative documentation, including surgical counts and relevant patient information. Coordinate specimens, medications, equipment, and supplies according to established protocols. Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, PACU nurses, and other members of the care team. Assist with patient transfer to the recovery area and provide appropriate handoff to the PACU team. Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards within the ambulatory surgery center.

What We're Looking For Required:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Current BLS and ACLS certification Previous perioperative, operating room, or surgical nursing experience Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical safety practices Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Preferred:
