Compensation Hourly Pay Range:
$56.92 - $86.09 per hour Pay is determined by factors such as education, experience, training, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and seniority. Position represented by a collective bargaining agreement. You'll collaborate closely with patients, families, surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure patients are informed, supported, and ready for surgery. This is a Part-Time (.50 FTE), Evening Shift opportunity that offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while maintaining flexibility and balance in your schedule. What You'll Do Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Prepare patients for surgical and procedural interventions Provide education and support to patients and families Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record Coordinate care with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams Delegate and oversee care appropriately based on team member competencies Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives Maintain professional competency through ongoing education and development Support a patient- and family-centered care environment What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire Minimum one year of experience in a perioperative or procedural setting Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills Basic computer proficiency Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Experience in perioperative pre-op/post-op care Experience in an Emergency Department setting CAPA certification Additional Requirement ACLS certification required within six months of hire A Great Place to Live and Work Nestled along the Columbia River, Vancouver, Washington offers the best of Pacific Northwest living.
