Job Description
ShiftKey, LLC is seeking Registered Nurses to pick up per diem shifts through our digital marketplace, supporting hospitals and care facilities facing critical staffing gaps. RNs choose when and where they work, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, administering medications, monitoring patient status, documenting in EHRs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. You'll uphold infection control and safety standards, educate patients and families, and adapt quickly to new settings-ideal for experienced nurses seeking flexible, tech-enabled work options. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in hospitals and care facilities using Shift Key's marketplace for shift selection Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition Administer medications and treatments safely, including IV therapy and wound care Document care accurately in EHR systems and maintain regulatory compliance Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to execute care plans Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and discharge plans Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards in all settings Quickly adapt to new facilities, workflows, and unit-specific protocols Communicate effectively with facility staff and Shift Key support teams Uphold professional, ethical nursing practice and patient confidentiality (HIPAA) Required Skills Patient assessment Care planning Medication administration IV therapy Wound care Electronic Health Records (EHR) Infection control Care coordination Patient and family education Clinical documentation
