1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring WA State or Compact RN licensure and NRP/FHM certification. Details Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week Day/evening shift from 0645-1845 No on-call responsibilities Must float as a sitter and may float in rotation Requirements Active WA State or Compact RN license required Current BLS, NRP, and FHM certifications required Must adhere to Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice Additional Information Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit-specific standards Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments Perform holistic ongoing assessments and evaluate discharge planning needs Document care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately Educate patients and families on relevant health information Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel Collaborate with the healthcare team and participate in performance improvement processes Maintain a clean and safe environment per hospital and unit policies
