In this role, you will provide comprehensive occupational health services, deliver independent nursing evaluations and interventions, support employees through work-related and personal health concerns, and champion programs that promote employee health and safety. A qualified Registered Nurse will be able to perform the following duties

• Performs tasks independently, within legal scope of practice or under provider direction over TM.
• Provides high quality occupational health and safety services efficiently. Refers patients to clinic, emergency departments or personal providers as needed.
• Accurately triages workplace injuries/illnesses and provides appropriate nursing interventions.
• Performs basic physical examinations, relays findings to patients and providers.
• Provides safety/health assessments of the worksite and develops/presents abatement plans to management/employees.
• Familiar with the work processes and safety/health hazards at each on-site location.
• Provides occupational health surveillance testing including, but not limited to, audiometry, vision screening, alcohol/drug screening, venipuncture, blood specimen collection.
• Develops and implements health/safety promotion strategies for the individual and group.

Requirements:

The Registered Nurse should have the following qualifications : Current, valid Washington state RN license 2+ years of nursing experience Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN/ COHN-S) Certification desirable, but not required. Current basic cardiac life support (BLS) certification. Current ACLS Certification Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft office or equivalent programs.
