Job Description

Western Wisconsin Health is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Nurse to join an amazing team of nurses in a rapidly growing birth center! Work under the direction of a licensed physician or certified nurse midwife credentialed at Western Wisconsin Health. Provide evidence-based nursing care specific to the childbearing women, newborn infants, and families based on evidence-based practice. All of this is done to support the organization's mission while living our values.
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing - Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing CPR certification for adults and pediatric Wisconsin RN license
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing 1+ years of hospital RN, LPN, or Nurse Intern experience within the last 3 years 1+ years of registered nurse experience in Labor and Delivery Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification, or ability to certify upon hire Fetal monitoring class (required to be successfully completed during OB orientation) International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBCLC) or Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic medical records Ability to anticipate, understand, and manage patient expectations and provide consistent delivery of services Clearly and effectively convey information to patients Knowledge of medical center emergency and disaster procedures Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently Ability to consistently carry out job responsibilities, able to acknowledge when commitments are not met, and take appropriate steps to fulfill responsibility Ability to analyze, identify, and solve problems while using sound judgment Work schedule: 0.6 FTE - 48 hours per bi-weekly pay period Every 4th weekend rotation
