Job Description

Don't miss this opportunity to join our Medical/Surgical team! Black River Health has an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse in our Med/Surg Department. The Registered Nurse plans and provides comprehensive patient care as well as manages available nursing resources and collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to provide quality, cost-effective patient care.
The positions available are:
Per Diem - 24 hours per pay period, Various shifts, with every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation, non-benefited
Essential Duties Include:
Evaluate patient assessments and responses to interventions and take appropriate action according to established standards. Provides individualized patient and family-focused care throughout the patient's stay. Initiates effective after-care and referral plans on admission utilizing appropriate hospital and community resources. Participates in patient and family education as evidenced by teaching documentation with appropriate resources.
Educational Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred BLS required within 3 months of hire ACLS within 1 year of hire PALS within 2 years of hire Current licensed Wisconsin RN At Black River Health, you'll join a team committed to delivering outstanding, compassionate healthcare close to home.
