This opportunity offers you the chance to positively impact students and staff while covering a leave from early February through April. Youll collaborate with caring educators and administrators, supporting the districts wellness initiatives and ensuring a healthy learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

Current RN licensure required Experience in schools or pediatric settings highly preferred Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Familiarity with individualized healthcare plans, emergency response, and medication administration Ability to travel between school sites within the district

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care to students and staff, addressing injuries, illnesses, and chronic health needs Administer prescribed medications and treatments in adherence with district protocols Monitor and document student health needs, maintaining accurate and confidential records Respond quickly and effectively to health emergencies district-wide Serve as a health resource for school personnel, students, and families, fostering health education and safe practices Support the identification and management of communicable diseases or health concerns within the district
