Locums About the Facility This approximately 200-bed facility in Wisconsin provides cardiothoracic surgical services across operating room and emergency room settings. The facility maintains established clinical infrastructure and protocols to support coordinated locum tenens coverage throughout each assigned period. On-site resources, including an existing Physician Associate, are in place to facilitate quality care delivery for the cardiothoracic surgery service line. About the Facility Location The area surrounding this Wisconsin facility offers clinicians on assignment a range of outdoor recreation, cultural activities, and year-round regional attractions suited to varied interests. About the Clinician's Workday The clinician will provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage across operating room and emergency room settings on a full-time basis, with standard day shift hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. On-call weeknight coverage extends to a 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (24-hour) schedule, and call is a required component of this assignment. Clinical responsibilities include endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH), CABG assistance, postoperative cardiac and thoracic patient management, chest tube, drain, and line management, and perioperative consultation. Substantial cardiovascular and thoracic surgery experience is required for consideration.
