Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. Administrator - RN Renaissance Appleton - Appleton, WI 54911
Apply Apply Description Job Summary:
The Administrator is responsible for all aspects of operation for the assisted living facility. The Administrator shall manage, direct, and coordinate all activities of the facility as they relate to the physical and psychological well-being of the resident.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Develops and monitors staff for professional 24-hour coverage Regularly meets with staff to discuss problems and possible solutions, and to discuss suggestions for improved operation Supervises basic nursing skills and follows established standards of nursing practice Monitors or supervises the administration of medications and treatments per physician order
Duties/Responsibilities:
Screens prospective residents to ensure the facility can provide the appropriate care for their need Assesses resident needs and initiate development of individualized service plan Monitors operation costs to stay within budget Works with the residential nurse to develop and maintain residents' treatment plans and monitor medications Maintains active involvement in professional and lay mental health organizations in the community Gives tours and promote the facility Assists in orientation of new personnel Conveys policies, procedures and any other facility information to staff in a way that all staff will receive and understand Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal skills Exceptional planning and organizational skills Ability to remain calm in stressful situations Effective problem-solving skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Education and Experience:
Current active Wisconsin nursing license in good standing Appropriate work-related experience may be substituted for some of the educational background At least two years of experience in a residential facility preferred Must have valid driver's license We are an equal employment opportunity employer!
