Float Registered Nurse LiveWell Homecare Agency Milwaukee, WI Job Details 12 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications PALS Certification Full Job Description Join a healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in a Med Surg Float role, providing high-acuity patient care across Intermediate and Med/Surg units.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading complex patient care with specialized training in progressive care to stabilize and support patients. Serving as the primary contact for clinical disciplines, ensuring seamless and coordinated recovery plans. Monitoring patient safety, documenting care accurately, and advocating for quality outcomes. Responding flexibly to hospital needs by providing expert nursing support in high-acuity cases.
Qualifications and skills:
Current RN licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a multistate license. BLS certification within 30 days of hire; Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in med/surg and progressive care settings. Experience with high-acuity patients and procedures such as chest tubes and medication infusions is preferred.
