1 Description American Traveler is hiring a full-time

WI LTC RN

for a Long Term Care nursing home position requiring an active WI or compact RN license and BLS certification. Details Long term care nursing home setting Full-time schedule with a mix of Day and PM shifts 7 Day shifts (6am-2pm) and 3 PM shifts (2pm-10pm) per schedule cycle Every other weekend required, working Day shift (6am-2pm) 13-week assignment length Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required Current BLS/CPR certification required Two-year nursing degree required; four-year degree preferred 1+ years of related work experience preferred Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required Additional Information Provide timely communication to physicians and families regarding significant changes in resident condition Complete resident assessments and medication administration following the 5 Rights Perform wound care and assessments as needed Assist CNAs with answering call lights and monitor residents for changes in condition Act as a leader on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed Report allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator Maintain accurate and thorough resident charting and records First-time travelers are welcome to apply
