What they do
A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
Duties include:
Assesses, admits, transfers or discharges patients and completes all necessary documentation. Performs basic patient care responsibilities as ordered by the physician and per standards of nursing care, considering age-appropriate needs. Evaluates the patient's condition and response to treatments, notifying the physician, charge nurse and other care givers as appropriate.Work Schedule:
32 hours weekly - .8 FTE Day and Evening shifts Every third weekend rotationRequired Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin required. BLS Certification required and ACLS required within 6 months of hire.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in EPIC computer system Minimum of 2 years hospital experience, preferably high obs, progressive care, or ICU experience.Benefits:
