2 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 1 year of experience and rotating on-call coverage. Details Acute care hospital setting in the Cath Lab department Rotates through PACU for Cath Lab patients 1:1 patient ratio Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts, either 6:00-16:30 or 7:00-17:30 depending on need On-call required on a rotating weekday basis and every 3rd weekend 40 guaranteed hours per week Epic EMR used, experience preferred but not required Requirements Active WI or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted at submission, must be obtained during compliance) BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be active and in hand NIHSS certification required, may be pending at submission but must be completed during compliance Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required First-time travelers accepted with experience SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including sheath removal, vascular closure, and monitoring of procedural sedation Assist with EP lab procedures such as cardiac ablation, mapping, and device insertion as needed Facility cannot accommodate travelers with latex allergies Local candidates accepted Travel pairs accepted Returning travelers must have been separated from the facility for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible to return Badge photo (passport-style) required within 24 hours of offer acceptance Two supervisor references required after offer acceptance, with one from the most recent assignment or permanent position for certain unit types Orientation includes facility modules averaging 3-4 hours in length
