Our client in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Medical Oncologist for a 195-day assignment beginning Nov 2, 2026. This role involves managing a diverse caseload of oncology and hematology patients, including new consults and follow-ups, with shifts from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Inpatient rounding may be required for comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities and Duties Manage a mixed caseload of oncology and hematology patients, including new consults and follow-ups. Conduct inpatient rounding as required. Oversee cases involving breast, lung, colorectal, prostate, pancreatic, gynecologic, head & neck, melanoma, lymphoma, leukemias, multiple myeloma, MDS, and benign hematology. Order and manage chemotherapy and its toxicities (IV/oral). Provide oversight for immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy. Perform bone marrow biopsies/aspirations. Manage central lines (Port-a-Cath, PICC). Manage oncologic emergencies. Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case reviews. Administer growth factor support and blood transfusions.
