Shift:

7:00 PM - 7:30

AM Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. 2 years of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience. 3 months of travel experience is preferred. 3 months of Epic experience is required with any experience within the last 12 months. ADN completion required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience:

2 years of MS experience; experience must be short-term acute-care hospital experience. Experience with indwelling drain removal and PICC line care/dressing changes is required.

Required Credentials:

Associate degree or certificate.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

At least 1 travel contract completed preferred.

Unit Details:

4NW is an ortho/neuro unit. Patient ratio is 1:6, increasing to 1:7 after 2300.

Shift & Scheduling:

Every other weekend. Holiday rotation. No call.

Flexible contract hours:

Weekly hours are not assured during orientation week or when the unit is closed for holidays.

Floating Requirements:

May float to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago, and other like units as needed. Floating to units and facilities will be required based on census. The employee should not be asked to work outside of their clinical skills unless approved by the employee, unit manager, shift advisor, and Staffency. 9 days maximum time off 1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years 1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months Proof of identification required
