Shift:
Day Shift•7:00 AM-7:30
PM Schedule:
3 days/week, 12 hrs/day, 36 hrs/week, Every other weekend required, Float as needed, No on-call required
Schedule Notes:
12 hour day shifts Float as needed
Scrub Color/Dress Code:
Any Fit Test required Color Vision Test required

Medical/Surgical /
Inpatient Hospital Required Skills & Experience:
Excellent customer service skills Critical thinking skills Strong communication skills Organizational skills Professional knowledge of nursing theory and nursing practice Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in an inpatient environment
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred
Education:
Associate's Degree in Nursing required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Required Certifications & Licensure:
Current Wisconsin RN License or Multi-State Nursing License from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Provider or AHA-approved equivalent
Job Summary:
Provides nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient Medical/Surgical environment Demonstrates competency in care delivery for primarily adult patient populations following
ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice Duties:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans Deliver direct patient care in an inpatient Medical/Surgical setting Coordinate patient care and communicate with interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate patient documentation and records Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in patient care delivery Adhere to nursing standards, policies, and hospital protocols
