North Med Surg/Telemetry:
Neuro is a specialized unit with 39 patient beds, providing comprehensive care for patients with neurological needs. The unit operates with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring that each nurse can provide attentive and individualized care. Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) or Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) are scheduled for every shift according to the staffing matrix, supporting the nursing staff and contributing to a collaborative team environment. This unit is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and are passionate about delivering high-quality care to neuro patients. Nurses and support staff here have the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team, utilizing their skills to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. How you'll contribute A Registered Nurse, RNwho excels in this role: Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient What we're looking for Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
