Dunbar Center in Youngstown, OH is seeking compassionate Graduate Nurses to provide bedside care, support rehabilitation, and assist with long-term resident needs in our skilled nursing facility. Under RN supervision, you will perform assessments, administer medications per scope, monitor vital signs, document care, and assist with ADLs. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, communicate with families, and help implement personalized care plans. This role offers strong mentorship, growth toward RN practice, and experience in post-acute, geriatric, and restorative nursing care. Responsibilities Provide direct bedside and personal care to residents under RN supervision Monitor vital signs, report changes, and assist with basic assessments Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice Support residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, and mobility Document nursing care accurately in the medical record Assist with rehabilitation and restorative nursing programs Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and other care team members Communicate with residents and families to support care goals Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies Participate in orientation, training, and ongoing clinical development Required Skills Basic patient assessment Vital signs monitoring Medication administration within scope Electronic health record documentation Infection prevention and control Geriatric and long-term care nursing Rehabilitation and restorative care support Safe patient handling and mobility Wound and skin care support Communication with residents and families
