Schedule/Hours:
6:45 am - 7:15 pm or 6:45 pm - 7:15 am shifts Block scheduling available, requests considered Every other weekend required on a set rotation (weekends 1 & 3 or 2 & 4)
Key Qualifications:
Active RN with recent Med-Surg Tele experience Previous travel nursing experience required
BLS & ACLS
certifications Skilled in post-operative care for adult/geriatric patients (surgical, orthopedics, urology, general medical) Experience titrating heparin drips; preference for cardiac drip experience Willingness to cross-train/fill in as Charge RN if needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a 1:6 nurse/patient ratio on a 32-bed unit Deliver care for surgical and medical patients (hips, shoulders, knees) Collaborate with a team that includes charge nurses, nurse aides (1:10 ratio), and 24/7 monitoring techs Utilize RT equipment: Cpap, BiPap, IV pumps, pulse oximeters, SCDs Why Choose This Assignment?
