A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description

Teton Outpatient Services has an immediate need for a Registered Nurse PreOp PostOP Teton Outpatient Services is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center. Our mission is to treat each and every one of our patients, and their families, as if they were our own family member. Each patient, each family, each and every time. Our facility is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. What You Will Do (Job Summary): The RN PreOp PostOp plans, coordinates, and oversees care for patients in PreOp and PostOp. Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to other team members. May have additional responsibilities as designated by the manager, which include, but are not limited to, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits, and projects. Required Skills:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Must have at least 1+ years experience in PACU. Will cross train for PreOP skills. Current RN license in the state of Wyoming, or compact license to work in Wyoming. Current BLS and ACLS. Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment. Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit. Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
