Role:
We are seeking an experienced Intake Coordinator I to join our team in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry. As an Intake Coordinator I, you will be responsible for managing the intake process for new patients, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and entered accurately into our system. You will work closely with our clinical team to ensure that patients receive the care they need in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of experience in a healthcare or social assistance setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field Experience working with insurance providers and understanding of insurance verification process Bilingual in
English and Spanish Responsibilities:
Manage the intake process for new patients, including collecting and entering all necessary information into our system Work closely with our clinical team to ensure that patients receive the care they need in a timely and efficient manner Communicate with patients and their families to answer questions and provide support throughout the intake process Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all patient information and interactions Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care
Skills:
As an Intake Coordinator I, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with patients and their families, as well as other members of the healthcare team. Your strong attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in managing the intake process for new patients and maintaining accurate records. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems will also be necessary to succeed in this role. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred, as they will allow you to communicate effectively with a wider range of patients.
