Overview Responsibilities Evaluates patient referrals for Inpatient Rehabilitation admission according to standardized criteria and coordinates specialized activities/services/equipment to achieve efficient and effective outcomes after transfer. Communicates with insurance provider and validates benefits as necessary.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree in

Nursing Licensure, Certification, Registration:

BLS One of the following: Current Alabama RN license Current Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama

•Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama Certified Rehab Nurse

•Certification must be obtained within 18 months of entry into position

Desired Qualifications:

BSN Considerable knowledge of acute care med-sur nursing Knowledge of Inpatient Rehabilitation Medicare admission criteria
