Job Description
Front Desk Coordinator / Medical Assistant We are seeking a full time Front Desk/Medical Assistant to join our growing family at United Spine & Pain. We are a physician-owned practice that aims to provide exceptional care to our patients. We seek a friendly, organized, and motivated team member. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting, and takes pride in creating a positive patient experience throughout a patient's plan of care.. Schedule Monday
- Thursday 8:00am
- 5:00pm Friday 8:00am
- 3:00pm Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling, questions, and concerns Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments Verify insurance information and collect required documentation Check patients in & out efficiently while maintaining accuracy Collect copayments and process patient payments Maintain patient records and ensure all information is up to date Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and staff Assist with referrals, authorizations, and medical records requests as needed Support daily office operations and administrative functions Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Promote and uphold USP's family-centered approach to patient care Work closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience Qualifications Previous medical office, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records systems preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional appearance and positive attitude Experience with insurance verification and scheduling is a plus About United Spine & Pain United Spine & Pain is an Interventional Pain Management Practice specializing in minimally invasive procedures, advanced treatment options, and comprehensive pain management solutions.
