A Registrar or Patient Service Representative provides direct assistance to patients at a health care or long term care facility. Answers questions and helps resolve complaints; provides liaison with health care providers; may assist with coordinating appointments or addressing billing or insurance issues.

What You Will Do:
Act as a liaison between guests, staff and patients to respond to patient and guest information inquiries. Receive, screen, route and/or respond to all incoming inquiries for information, directions or concerns. Receive guest suggestions and complaints and escalate through proper channels. Provide patient information in compliance with The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements and organizational privacy policies. Identify and report issues of safety and maintenance. Assist in improving patient satisfaction while keeping volunteer office management informed of potential problems. Anticipate family's needs and resolve issues before they become major source of concern.

BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted, preferred. .
Education:
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
