Position Summary The role of the Registration/Checkout Clerk reports to the Clinic Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the activities of the front office. Essential Position Responsibilities Engage with customers, patients, guests, and coworkers in a positive and professional manner Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, clinic staff, and providers Perform office and administrative duties in an effective and efficient manner Schedule appointments Register patients Collect co-payments and deductibles Verify insurance eligibility

Qualifications Education:

High school diploma or

GED Licensure and Certifications:

N/A Experience:

Previous experience in a clerical support role, preferred.

Work Environment :

This position will spend 80% of work time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment and 20% of work time standing and/or walking short distances while occasionally pushing, pulling, lifting and/or carrying up to 50 lbs.
