Responsibilities Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR), ensuring all patient data is entered correctly and updated regularly Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries via phone, email, or in-person interactions, providing clear and empathetic communication Assist with insurance verification, third-party billing processes, and health insurance inquiries to facilitate smooth revenue cycle management Support internal communication among healthcare teams by coordinating appointments, sharing updates, and managing documentation efficiently Perform data entry tasks related to patient demographics, insurance details, and clinical notes with precision and attention to detail Handle administrative duties such as assisting the office manager and other patient care specialist. Skills Proven experience in healthcare administration or related roles with a strong understanding of medical terminology and health insurance processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation, scheduling, and communication tasks, teams, Microsoft 365, Brightree and Parachute. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and written correspondence Strong internal communication skills to coordinate efficiently within multidisciplinary healthcare teams Accurate typing skills with a focus on speed and precision for data entry tasks Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems to ensure compliance and data integrity This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the healthcare industry while providing exceptional support to patients and providers alike.
