Job Description
Position Summary Under the general supervision of the Director of Admissions, it arranges for the efficient and orderly registration of all patients. Coordinates insurance and AHCCCS verification, benefits, and authorizations for all patients. Audits all registrations for data accuracy and acts as a resource to all areas of the medical center regarding insurance and registration. Responds to inquiries from physicians, insurance companies, patients, and government representatives, and reviews bills, charges, and related data for accuracy as assigned. Correctly identifies patient demographics, processes data entry, provides excellent customer service, and performs various clerical duties.
