Carondelet Green Valley A non-exempt medical office position responsible for front office processes in physician practice Responsibilities Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources, including the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan and the Corporate Compliance Program. Greets patients entering the practice. Manages office communications, including answering phones, making, confirming, and rescheduling patient appointments. Checks in patients, collects accurate patient demographics, verifies insurance, and enters data into the electronic system. Checks out patients and assists them with referral processing and scheduling. Collects co-pays and posts charges. Processes charge entry and patient balances. Distributes information to patients regarding office policies, procedures, and practice information. Explains the patient portal and assists with patient enrollment. Performs additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma/
GED Experience:
One year customer service experience, preferably in a hospital or physician office setting.
