Overview Schedule:

4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Schedule will include a combination of weekdays, weekends, and after-hours urgent care coverage based on operational needs.

Purpose Statement/Position Summary:

The Medical Assistant/Patient Services Representative provides patient-families with a positive experience at CHLA by performing a variety of patient care and clerical activities to assist physicians, nursing and clerical personnel.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

1+ year experience in pediatrics preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program required. California Medical Assistant certification preferred. AHA CPR required. Pay Scale Information $47,840.00-$63,024.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
