Medical Office Assistant

Busy Medical Practice in Southern Marin is looking to add front and back office team members. This position is full time. We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication, and customer service skills with attention to detail. This individual must be a efficient team player, but also self-directed and able to meet deadlines. Excellent computer skills are a necessity as we use a full electronic medical records program. Our practice is very busy and fast paced but a fun place to work.

Other duties include:

Data entry and busy phones Excellent phone skills, customer service skills Processing paper work for patients-orders, registration, insurance entry, prior authorization Answers phone, schedules appointments, routes messages Basic computer knowledge-keyboard, importing documents, scanning Checks voice mails in timely manner, communicates well with others within the office Experience with

EPIC EMR

Helps clean/restock as needed Helps obtain medical records when needed. The ideal candidate has experience in customer service / medical office environments, 2 or more years of consistent experience in a busy medical practice, and a proven track record of sustained employment and punctual.
