In this 100% non-clinical, non-patient-facing position, you will collect, compile, abstract, and present critical data regarding trauma incidence, severity, and outcomes. Manage the trauma registry database to ensure accurate, timely, and accessible data for trauma program operations, survey readiness, and state management compliance.Key Responsibilities:
Collect, compile, abstract, and present trauma data including injury severity, incidence, causes, and patient outcomes. Maintain clinical and research databases to support Oregon and California trauma management standards. Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility for trauma services. Support data collection utilized for process improvement, research studies, clinical effectiveness, and educational activities.Requirements:
Certified Abbreviated Injury Scale Specialist (CAISS) certification required. Completion of AIS course through AAAM and ATS Trauma Registry Course (TRC). Proven experience in trauma registry data entry, abstraction, management, and reporting. strong capability to work independently in a non-clinical data role.Preferred:
Background in hospital trauma services, survey readiness, or process improvement research.
