Job description We are a Congregate Living Health Facility with a 6-patient capacity. Specializing in short-term care for post-surgery and post-hospitalization recovery offering physical and occupational therapy with 24-hour nursing care to get patients back to living their life to the fullest. We strive to be the premier post-acute recovery facility in the Antelope Valley and surrounding areas, providing excellent patient care and customer service in a clean, comfortable, newly renovated facility. We are a growing company and have positions open for skilled LVN's for Day and Night Shift. You will provide outstanding patient care and physical support for patients on a daily basis. To be considered for this role you need to have an active California LVN License.

Requirements:

Active California LVN License Must be able to make yourself available a minimum of 2 shifts per week Must have minimum of 1 year as

LICENSED

Vocational Nurse experience Current CPR (American Heart Association) Must have previous EMR experience Ability to think and work independently and with direction, and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced, challenging and sometimes stressful environment Recent IV experience Current IV certification Point Click Care experience preferred, but will train Vent Certification highly preferred (can obtain once hired) Comfortable using a computer Excellent personal hygiene Successful completion of Pre-Employment Physical & Drug Screening, including TB prior to employment start date

Responsibilities:

Ensure quality and safe delivery of nursing services Communicate with DON, Physician and Admin as appropriate, on a regular basis regarding changes in the patient's conditions and / or needs Assist the Physician in performing specialized procedures and duties Assist the DON and Physician in carrying out the plan of care Assist the patient in learning appropriate self-care techniques Perform procedures at a level of care standard within the medical community, and scope of practice consistent with the Vocational Nursing Practice Act Answering patient calls and determining how best to help them. Recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as per policy and procedures Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises or blood in urine.
