Work Environment The position requires working directly onsite within patients' homes, allowing for a personalized approach to care. This environment fosters a comfortable atmosphere for patients receiving care while also challenging you to adapt treatments to varying home settings. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm, which allows for a balanced work-life integration while offering the flexibility to attend to your personal commitments. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients, reviewing their medical history, functional limitations, and rehabilitation goals to create tailored care plans. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans grounded in your assessments, focusing on evidence-based practices. Guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, ensuring that treatment plans are understood and adhered to, which enhances their engagement and commitment. Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and customized exercise prescriptions to help patients achieve their functional goals. Continuously monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans while documenting all services rendered accurately. Educate patients and families on self-management strategies to promote long-term success and adherence to therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative patients, injury rehabilitations, and those with chronic pain syndromes. Your role will be to provide empathetic care that considers each patient's unique circumstances, maximizing their potential for recovery and independence. Qualifications Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. Current and unrestricted licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California. No history of board actions or disciplinary measures against your professional license. A minimum of three years of professional experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation. Preferred Experience Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in applying them effectively within treatment plans. Skilled in designing and leading exercise programs tailored to patients' needs, with an ability to adapt based on real-time progress. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary range between USD 90,000 and 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
