Key Responsibilities Conduct individualized therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of modalities to address the unique needs and circumstances of each client. Facilitate group therapy sessions, providing a supportive environment where clients can share experiences and learn coping strategies. Perform comprehensive mental health assessments, demonstrating keen insight and analysis to inform treatment planning. Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans that align with the clients' therapeutic goals and adjust strategies as necessary based on progress. Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed, ensuring immediate support for clients in distress. Document client interactions and treatment progress through our EHR system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, to coordinate care and improve overall patient outcomes. Engage in continuous professional development through supervision, training, and participation in clinical meetings. Patient Population / Client Focus This position primarily focuses on serving individuals from diverse backgrounds who are facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. You will work with clients of all ages, employing culturally competent approaches to therapy that respect and affirm their identities and experiences. As part of our community health clinic model, you will engage in outreach efforts and referrals to ensure clients have access to comprehensive support services. Qualifications A current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California is mandatory. A Master's degree in Social Work or a closely related field. A solid understanding of mental health interventions and therapeutic modalities. Proficiency in electronic health record systems to document and monitor client progress. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members. Preferred Experience Minimum of two years of post-master's experience in a clinical social work setting, particularly within outpatient or community health environments. Previous experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in therapy. Exposure to and familiarity with crisis intervention protocols and trauma-informed care.
