This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and families in a fast-paced medical setting.
Position Summary:
Responsible for front office operations, patient scheduling, insurance verification, and managing referrals/authorizations for pediatric patients. Candidate must be organized, professional, and able to multitask.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and families in a welcoming manner Schedule well-child visits and sick visits Verify insurance eligibility and patient demographics Process and track referrals and prior authorizations Coordinate with specialty offices and insurance plans Maintain accurate documentation in EMR system Support general front desk duties as needed
Qualifications:
Prior medical office experience preferred (pediatrics a plus) Experience with referrals/authorizations strongly preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a busy office environment EMR experience preferred (Practice Fusion or similar) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
