We are seeking a warm and engaging Admissions Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our facility. In this pivotal role, you will guide prospective residents and their families through one of life's most important transitions with empathy and expertise. You will collaborate with healthcare heroes across our interdisciplinary teams to ensure every resident finds the care and community they deserve, all while championing innovative strategies and educational programs that enhance our world-class service standards.
Preferred Schedule:
Wednesday to Sunday 8am to 5pm Key Responsibilities Serve as a compassionate primary point of contact, providing families with detailed, heart-felt guidance on our care options and services. Coordinate and lead engaging tours, assessments, and admissions appointments that showcase our vibrant community. Collaborate closely with clinical teams and external partners to ensure all admission documentation is accurate and resident rooms are welcoming and ready. Maintain meticulous records of inquiries and admissions while ensuring full compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies. Develop creative community outreach initiatives and educational programs to inform families about managed care and long-term support. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration is a wonderful plus. A minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare settings, particularly in admissions coordination or clerical roles within skilled nursing or assisted living. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a naturally cheerful and empathetic disposition. Strong organizational proficiency in scheduling and computer systems, including EMR and standard office software. A passion for continuous improvement, bilingual skills, or experience with community outreach are highly valued!
