Patient Registrar III serves as an Experience Ambassador, welcoming and assisting patients, families, and visitors. Supports kiosk registration, ensures accurate data capture, answers insurance and network questions, collects required payments, and provides concierge‑level guidance. Responds to walk‑in requests such as forms, prescription pick‑ups, scheduling help, provider information, and Release of Information needs.

Responsibilities:
Provides excellent patient service using CARES, AIDET, and EPE, resolving complaints and managing conflict appropriately. Performs accurate registration, collects required patient data, verifies insurance eligibility, and guides patients through e‑signature and ROI processes. Collects financial obligations, follows cash‑handling policies, and refers patients to Financial Advocates when needed. Creates accurate telephone messages, supports workflows for forms and prescriptions, and consistently demonstrates CARES behaviors while improving communication, efficiency, and service.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of healthcare or customer service experience with proven scheduling and registration competency; must pass EPIC training. Requires knowledge of the full patient encounter process, including scheduling, registration, contract and financial guidelines, service coordination, and basic billing workflow.
