You'll be the welcoming face for patients—handling check-in, registration, insurance, scheduling, and calls. If you want your work to make a real difference in patients' lives, we'd love to meet you.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
As a PSR, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, providing friendly service while managing front desk, scheduling, calls, and admin tasks.
FRONT DESK RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors with professionalism and warmth. Check patients in/out and schedule appointments. Triage and direct patient questions and concerns. Verify and update patient info in our EHR system. Scan/upload patient documents to EHR. Collect payments and issue receipts. Handle appointment changes and cancellations. Always protect patient privacy. Support call center as needed. Call Center Responsibilities Answer calls promptly and professionally. Triage and route patient calls and requests. Schedule appointments per protocol. Update patient info as needed. Document patient communications in EHR and route messages as needed. Return patient calls and leave voicemails as needed. Meet call center goals. Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and staff. Work with the care team to ensure smooth patient flow and resolve concerns. Show professionalism, reliability, and strong communication. Follow all HIPAA, safety, and privacy rules. Keep uptodate on workflows and procedures. Participate in meetings and training as assigned. Take on other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
High school diploma or GED required. 1+ years' customer service experience (medical office, insurance, call center, or similar). Appointment scheduling experience Flexible and able to multitask. Proficient with computers, MS Office, and EHR systems (Epic preferred). Collaborative and relationshipbuilding skills. Strong problem solving and sound judgment. Excellent organizational skills. Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently and take direction. Handles confidential information with discretion.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, on-site
Hours:
8 AM - 5 PM Clinic and office environment.
