Rotating/Variable 8-hour shifts Position Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment in a 277-bed acute care hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. The pharmacist will support inpatient pharmacy operations, ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing, collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, and provide high-quality clinical pharmacy services to hospitalized patients. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and accurately dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols Monitor medication therapy and assess patient responses to ensure optimal outcomes and patient safety Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams on medication management and clinical recommendations Maintain accurate documentation within Epic EMR in compliance with regulatory and hospital standards Prepare and compound medications as required while adhering to all safety and quality guidelines Provide medication counseling and patient education when appropriate Ensure compliance with infection control standards, medication storage policies, and pharmacy operational procedures Qualifications Active Pharmacist license in the state of California (required) Prior inpatient or acute care hospital pharmacy experience preferred First-time travelers are welcome to apply Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and communication skills Experience with Epic EMR preferred Ability to work flexible and variable shift start times based on departmental needs For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
