Not available Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment in an acute care hospital setting in Santa Rosa, California. This role is ideal for a clinically strong pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring safe, accurate, and effective medication use while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness Prepare and dispense medications according to hospital protocols Monitor patient medication therapy and provide clinical recommendations Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams on medication management Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, policies, and safety standards Maintain accurate documentation and medication records Support medication reconciliation and clinical pharmacy services Identify and address drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications Manage safe medication storage, handling, and inventory control Utilize Epic or similar EHR systems for documentation and workflow Required Qualifications Active California Pharmacist License (Required) Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred Strong clinical knowledge of medication therapy management Ability to perform in a fast-paced acute care environment Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Experience with Epic electronic health records preferred Pending licenses are not accepted Certifications & Licensure California State Pharmacist License (Active and Required) For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
