Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support and customer service in a medical setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
  • Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
  • Verify insurance information and process patient billing
  • Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care efficiently
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
Experience:
  • Previous experience in a medical receptionist role preferred
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and handling administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of medical records management and familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus
  • Understanding of medical terminology and procedures, particularly in an ER or dental clinic setting
